The Adair County Cattlemens Association held their annual picnic on Monday, September 31, 2013. A large crowd of 175 people were in attendance.

Members enjoyed a "Taste of Adair" with M & W Milling Co. donating locally grown beef for the meal.

The Farmer's Pride donated ice cream for dessert. Highlights of the event included door prizes too numerous to mention, President Barney Janes providing an update on Association's activities, and of course a delightful meal.

Membership dues for the Adair County Cattlemen's Association is $30 for single membership, and $45 for couple membership. Dues can be paid at the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service, 409 Fairgrounds Street, Columbia, KY. Nick Roy, Adair County Extension Agent for Agriculture and Natural Resources
