Golf/Men: LWC wins second place in MSC Tournament By Jay Nicols News from Lindsey Wilson College GEORGETOWN, KY - Lindsey Wilson men's golf shot a final score of 576 to finish in a tie for second place with University of the Cumberlands (KY) at the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament at Cherry Blossom Golf Course. The Blue Raiders shot a 284 on day two to secure a second place finish in the tournament, three strokes back of the Championship team, Cumberland (TN) University (283-290) who finished with a final score of 573. Lindsey Wilson placed three golfers in the top-10 - Franck Medale, Chris Butler and Nate Hincks. Medale finished in fourth place after shooting a 1-under par 71 in the final round for a total score of 3-under par 141 (70-71). Medale was four shots off the Individual winner, Austin Garrett of Cumberland (Tenn.) who shot a 7-under par 137 (71-66) Butler placed fifth with a 1-under par 143 (72-71) after shooting a 1-under par 71 in the final round of the tournament. Hincks shot a 3-under par 69 on day two to move from 18th place to sixth place with a final score of even par 144 (75-69). Federico Navarro rounds out the top-20 after shooting a 7-over par 151 (75-76). Zach Madewell jumped 20 spots after recording a 1-over par 73 to finish the day in a five-way tie for 28th place.
