Yard Folk in their Forever Homes: Pinky the Pansy lover

2011-10-22 - Beautiful Joppa, Adair Co., KY - Photo by Maury Lewis.
Pinky the pansy lover has finally been placed where she will be happy, in the broken pot pansy garden. The pansies look like they have grown a couple of inches since that frost last night so I decided I needed to get Pinky out there before I have to put a coat and warm hat on her. I would like to ask the people who bought one of the yard folks to send a picture to the magazine to show where have you placed your yard folk. The Adair County Garden Club members would like to see where the folks are hanging out these days -MAURY LEWIS

I was so pleased with the amazing turnout yesterday for out fundraiser for Governor Beshear. We certainly didn't expect it with the weather as gloomy as it was.

It certainly didn't start out well. I was running late after having to make a mad dash to Dr. King, my vet, with a newly born calf, sopping wet and covered in mud.
