Edrol C. Bryant, Adair Co. KY native (1927-2011)

He was born Christmas Day, 1927, in Adair County, KY and died October 19, 2011, in Adair County, KY. He was a member of a large, respected Adair County family. He was a retired steel mill worker in Kokomo, IN and a member of the First Assembly of God Church and a 50 year member of the Howard Lodge No. 93, there. Services and interment will be in Indiana.

Edrol C. Bryant, age 83 years of Kokomo, IN native of Adair County, Ky. passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at 4:32pmCT at Summit Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Columbia, KY.

Services are 10amET, Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road in Kokomo, IN. Entombment will be in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, IN. Friends may call from 4pm-8pmET Monday at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be held from 7:30pm-8pmET on Monday, October 24, 2011, at the funeral home.

He was born Christmas Day, Sunday, December 25, 1927 in Columbia, Adair County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Virgil and Pearl Roberts Bryant. He died Wednesday, October 19, 2011, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 83 years, 9 months, and 25 days.

On November 15, 1945 in Kokomo, IN, he married Lena Beatrice Bryant on November 15, 1945 in Kokomo, IN who preceded him in death August 3, 1994.

He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Kokomo, a retired steel worker and a 50 year member of Howard Lodge No. 93.

He is survived by the following:
  • Three brothers: Ronald Jack, Kokomo, Edward, Port Charlotte, Florida and Arnold, Cave City, KY

  • Five sisters: Rachel Rock, Center, KY; Carol Riddle, Glasgow, KY; Donna Bryant, Hiseville, KY; Brenda and Janice Bryant both of Columbia, KY

  • Many nieces and nephews

  • And one special cousin: Ina Seward
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and two sisters.
