Driver, passenger injured when vehicle strikes tree

Driver lodged in Marion County Detention Center on charges including DUI following single vehicle crash near Willisburg, KY, in most northern section of KSP Post 15 service area.

SPRINGFIELD, KY - Trooper Fred Cornett investigated an injury collision that occurred four miles West of Willisburg,, KY, on Hardesty Road at 9:20amET, Saturday, October 22, 2011. Solon Young, age 51 of Louisville, KY was operating a 2004 Chevy pickup Westbound on Hardesty Road when he lost control, ran off roadway and struck a tree.



He was treated and released from Springview Hospital, Lebanon, KY. A passenger in the vehicle, James Hahn III, age 26 of Bloomfield, KY was also treated and released from Springview Hospital. Both Young and Hahn were wearing seat belts. Young was arrested and lodged in the Marion County Detention Center for DUI 3rd aggravating circumstances, driving on DUI suspended license 1st, and no insurance.
