I too remember it from the many trips we made to Edmonton as I was growing up in the Rowetown area of Sparksville/Breeding. It was just as easy to go to Edmonton as it was to Columbia from where we lived and with family (grandparents, uncles, aunts) and many friends living in Metcalfe County we made many trips over the years. This barn was always the point of arrival to Edmonton for me. It would be a shame to loose this landmark. I hope it lasts another lifetime to serve as a reminder of days gone. s/Jennifer Fudge Carter This brings our memory of when the guys were little and we drove KY 80 to their Mema's and Pepa's house on Rogers Street in Edmonton. It has been crooked for at least 15 years. Thanks again for all of the beautiful work on the Rose Garden, and the new effort by all parties (City of Columbia, Garden Club, and everyone else that helps) involved have certainly helped take the Trabue-Russell House to new found beauty and state of preservation. There may be an opportunity for the public to enjoy it during the coming holiday season. Stay tuned for further developments. Garden Club Time and the forces of nature had taken its toll on the sign that commemorates the life of Daniel Trabue and marks the historic home he built in 1823. In a cooperative effort between the Kentucky Historical Society, The State road crew, the Mayor's office and the Adair County Garden Club the historical marker received a new pole and was reset in its place of honor on Jamestown Street.
