Driver injured when truck flips after dropping off shoulder

GREEN CO., KY - A collision occurred Wednsday evening at 5:45pmCT, September 23, 2009, four miles South of Greensburg, KY on Old Spring Road. Robin Lawhorn, 22, Dunnville, KY, was operating a 1994 Nissan truck when she dropped off the shoulder of the roadway and struck an embankment causing the truck to flip on it's side.



Lawhorn was treated and released from Jane Todd Hospital, Greensburg, KY. A passenger in the vehicle, 20 year old Michael Shane Garmon of Greensburg, KY, was not injured. Neither Lawhorn nor Garmon were wearing a seat belt. Tpr. David Smith of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY, is investigating the collision. Green County EMS and Green County Rescue assisted at the scene.
