Letter: Wants to know about history of Adair Co., KY

About: Historic Adair Co KY Late 1700s log building Dohoney Farm

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

Will people be able to go to the new location and see the building? Is he going to restore it to be used or to be visited by people like me?

The article reads one of the oldest. What and where are the oldest buildings in Adair County?

I have never been so interested in history of a town as I am in the history of Adair County. I really like to read about this town and its history.

I want to find out about the people that use to live on my property on Combest Drive.

I understand that ir use to be Combest Farm but is now Bloyd Subdivision. I will find out one of these days when I find time to look at records for the property.

s/Maury Lewis
Thanks. We've not heard of any intention to open the new location of the log structure to the public.
