Nona Marie Grider Cook (1924-1996) graduated from Glensfork High School. Stella Frances Grider Cross attended Glensfork High School probably during its last school year of operation. Their teacher was Mrs. Walter Demaree Richards (1904-1997). Aunt Frances has the distinction of being the first member of the Grider family to have been a graduate of Columbia High School.
