Max Willis is missing. He loves college. May be at LWC

Ambitious dog likes LWC bikers and runners; often joins them for return to campus

Our 3 year old butterscotch Lab, Max, is missing.

Please help us find him. He is wearing a camouflage collar and has been neutered.

He often follows LWC runners and bikers back to the college. We have picked him up several times there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Adair County Fair Association has given the Adair County Band Boosters the concession stands for the 2009 Fair to help them raise money to meet their goal for their Macy Parade trip.

The value of the stands have ranged from $6,000 to $10,000 in the past few years.

The Band Boosters will be in for a full week of hard work but the Adair County Fair Association wishes them luck and hope they reach their goal.

The Adair County Garden Club proved that you are never too old to play in the mud at their April meeting. Members mixed a secret recipe of peat moss, cement and other special ingredients to form the perfect mud for building hyper tufa pots.

AC Firemen respond to field fire, Eastern Adair Co., KY

The Adair County Fire Dept responded to a field fire at around around 2:00pmCT, Wednesday afternoon, April 29, 2009, to White Oak Church RD, Columbia, KY, to property owned by Joe Wheet, 1.5 acres of property burned. There were 12 firemen on the scene for 30 minutes.

Columbia, KY Police investigate another Bloody Crossing crash

Two vehicle collision injures three. Passenger in 1997 Geo Tracker treated at Westlake Regional Hospital, then airlifted to UK.
CALL FOR ACTION: Following the latest crash on at the Bloody Crossing on the Columbia Western Bypass with KY 61, Columbia Chief of Police Mark Harris is asking, "Will we have to put up crosses before we get a caution light or something to get people's attention there?" and added. "It's a gom."

Each spring for almost thirty years, Kentucky Repertory Theatre in Horse Cave has hosted readings of new plays by Kentucky playwrights or with Kentucky themes. Many of them have gone on to full productions at the theatre and at other locations. On Wednesday night, April 29, 2009, at 7:00pmCT: a new ten-minute play by Nellie Gooden and Full Moon by Larry Pike. The readings will be in the Education Building at 118 East Main Street, Horse Cave. This is just across the street from the American Cave Museum. These events are free and open to the public.
