Letter: Dr. Smith suggests taking chain down during day

About response to letter: "No Entrance sign at Columbia cemeter"

    Ed:

Very good response! We should all take notice of the good job of this committee and how nice the cemetery always looks. I am aware of the past problems, but I think our police department can correct this. Perhaps the chain could be taken down at 9:00 o'clock each day. I don't think anyone can get out to Campbellsville Street in the afternoon!

You're going to have to remember that we country folks and some of your analogies are very deep. I must confess i had to google the hidden meaning to some of the 'big words." Thank goodness I found them or I would have needed to consult with your little brother.

Short trip through cemetery was not disrespectful

    Thinks speed should be enforced.

Response to: Wall Street residence thinks Chain right decision at the time

    To ColumbiaMagazine.com

Is the road that passes through the cemetery not a publicly paved road?

When there are people at the City Park (Fairgrounds), would the same tactic be implemented to deter bad drivers.
