Gas Price Drumbeat: Prices coming down in Louisville To ColumbiaMagazine.com I was in Louisville yesterday and gas in several places was 3.71 a gallon I paid 3.81 for middle grade. ACRD tractor, boom mower totaled in fire at Breeding Breeding Area Volunteer Fire Department resonds quickly. Fire delays county's efforts to get roadsways cleared by start of school, but Ann says she's thankful no one hurt, thankful for BAVFD, and so thankful the Adair County Road Department employee escaped incident uninjured. Equipment was insured. Road was reopened at 5:45pm Wednesday, July 31, 2008 With photographs By Ed Waggener Traffic was blocked on Chestnut Grove Road between Breeding and Nell for over three hours on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, following an equipment fire which totaled the Adair County Road Department's tractor and boom mower. The operator, Phillip Carter, was unhurt. Firemen and ACRD personel believe the fire was the result of a wiring problem. Adair County Judge Executive Ann Melton visited the scene. "It's was a terrible thing to happen at this season," she said. "We were pushing to get all the County Roads in as safe a condition as possible before school starts next week.
