Sumner Campus Ministry Center expansion is taking shape New space will allow worship services three times a week. 4,000 ft. expansion will be completed in 2008-09 school year With two photos By Duane Bonifer, LWC Director of Public Affairs The addition to Lindsey Wilson Colleges Sumner Campus Ministry Center began to take shape this week. On Wednesday afternoon, employees of American Poured Walls poured concrete to form the additions stem walls. The 4,000-square-foot addition to the 3-year-old Sumner Center will accommodate one of LWCs fastest-growing undergraduate programs and also allow the college to expand its ministry to more students. The expansion will be completed during the 2008-09 school year and will allow the college to expand to three worship services a week and provide additional classroom space for the Christian ministries program. The addition will also be used as a practice and performing area, lecture hall or a place for conferences. This story was posted on 2008-07-31 12:36:32
