Columbia Police investigates injury accident

POLICE REPORTS

Occurs at Greenhills RD, KY 206 intersectionThe Columbia Police Department investigated an injury accident at 06:37amCT, this morning, Thursday, July 31, 2008, at the intersection of Fairground ST and Green Hills RD.

According to Columbia City Police, Kimberly Fugate, 28, Jamestown, KY, operating a 2001 Oldsmobile was attempting to turn from Green Hills Road onto Fairground Street and pulled into the path of 1955 Chevy pickup operated by Kevin Burton, 20, Columbia, KY.




Kimberly Fugate was transported to Westlake Regional Hospital by Adair EMS. Kevin Burton was transported by private auto to seek medical attention.

Both drivers had seatbelts in use.

The accident was investigated by Officer Gary Roy.
