Comment: Mrs. Gabehart and the 1938 GHS Diploma About: PHOTO, ELVA GABEHART Mr. Waggener, That was a great article on the "Gradyville Get Together." Mr. Davenport has done a fine job of saving and restoring the mill. You also had a real nice photo of my grandmother, Elva Gabehart. I knew she was in the first graduating class of the high school there, but I didn't know about the diploma until Friday. I'm not real sure where my own diploma is and here she has her's from 1938! The buggy rides were a nice idea, everyone enjoyed them. Keep up the good work. s/Wally Burress Thanks so much. The diploma was such a nice surprise for everybody. Thanks for having such a wonderful grandmother! -EW 2008-06-23 17:09:36 | Comments | Printable version | See topic Letters and Reader Feedback

Billy Thomas, University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension forester, said some of the biggest obstacles woodland owners face are understanding their property's potential and finding people who can help them accomplish their objectives.
