Obituary: Meredith Grady Johnston, 71 COLUMBIAMAGAZINE.COM OBITUARIES She was a native of Columbia, a member of an outstanding Adair County family. She is remembered here for her great poise and beauty Meredith Johnston, 71, Louisville, KY, died Thursday, June 19, 2008, in Louisville after an illness. The funeral service will be Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at 1:00pmET, at St. Stephen Baptist Church, 1018 S. 15th Street, Louisville, KY, with burial in Green Meadows Cemetery. A native of Adair County, she was a daughter of the late Grant "Pete" Grady and Gertrude Paige Grady, and was retired from Jefferson County Schools. She is remembered in Columbia for her grace, beauty, and pleasant manner. She is survived by her husband, George Johnston, Louisville, KY, and the following:
