Tom Chaney #33, a replay column: Duncan Hines

Of Writers and Their Books: There is no column by Tom Chaney for this week. Here is a memorable column from October 2, 2005 about one of the most remarkable Kentuckians who ever lived, Bowling Green's Duncan Hines. This column by her friend is endorsed by Sue Stivers, Columbia Adair County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, who has called it (and anything by or about Duncan Hines), "a must read for anybody in the business of tourism." -CM

When it came, we were off to New Orleans -- Dad, Mother, Ann, and I, of course. But there was Uncle Bill and Aunt Bur -- J.W. and Virgie Edwards, Dad's sister and brother-in-law from Woodburn.
