A must re-read: Carlis Wilson's story of parent's wedding

Adair County historian Carlis B. Wilson contributed so much to Adair County. His extensive writing includes many articles carried in ColumbiaMagazine.com.

One of his most moving stories was posted two years ago, tomorrow, which he entitled, "When Mom and Dad married." He tells how learning his grandfather could sign his name was such and emotional event for the author. The picture Carlis Wilson painted of the wedding, in his own imagining, is moving. And the word picture of the idyllic wedding scene at a Sparksville parsonage is unforgettable.
