Several 2008 Adair Relay for Life Events

Several Relay for Life teams are planning events for 2008. These include ongoing sales as well as special events.

First & Farmers National Bank and "Class Act" the Adair County Elementary School and Col. Wm. Casey Elementary coordinated Relay for Life events are listed below:




First & Farmers: Relay For Life Soup Luncheon
First & Farmers National Banks Relay Team will be having a Soup Luncheon on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, from 10:30 to 1:00. If you place your order in advance, we will be glad to have you order ready and waiting, and if needed, we will deliver to your business. Walk-in orders will be honored also. The soup will consist of taco soup with tortilla chips or potato soup w/ cornbread and a dessert which will cost $5.00 each. Please return this form by Friday, February 22, 2008 by 3:00pmCT. You may fax your orders in at 384-2905, or you may email them to wes02bryant@yahoo.com. If you have any questions, feel free to call me, Wes Bryant, at (270) 384-2700. All proceeds will benefit the Relay for Life.

First & Farmers selling donuts for Relay for Life
Krispy Kreme donuts. We are selling the glazed and chocolate glazed donuts. The glazed are $5 per dozen and the chocolate glazed are $6 per dozen. We are selling them through March 4, and they will be available for pickup on March 7. We would like to thank everyone that will come out and support us in our fundraisers.
ACES and CWC Class Act Fundraisers

Class Act Relay for Life at ACES, CWC offers Keepsake photos
For only $9.95 your family can purchase a keepsake photo. The best part is that the entire $9.95 will go directly to the Relay for Life effort. There are two types of portraits that can be purchased. One is a regular family portrait and the other is an antique style childrens portrait. The company has antique style clothing for children ages 3 mo.-10 years of age. Older children may be photographed as well but will need to supply their own clothing. Class Act Relay for Life team to hold game basket giveaway
The Class Act team will be selling raffle tickets on a huge collection of games and gift certificates all bundled in a Longaberger laundry basket. The basket includes a wide variety of board games, a brand new Nintendo DS Lite, and gift certificates for games and other items. The total value of the basket is over $500. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. You may contact either ACES or CWC schools for more information.

Giant Yard Sale at CWC gym March 1, 2008
On March 1, there will be a gigantic yard sale in the gym at Col. Wm. Casey Elementary school. School staff and students will be donating items for the yard sale. Most items will be priced at $1 or less. The yard sale will begin at 8:00amCT on Saturday, March 1, 2008, at CWC. To make donations contact either school.
