LWC's Blinkhorn finishes runner-up at MSC Championship By Anthony Latessa Bowling Green, KY - (Thu 26 Apr 2018) Callum Blinkhorn finished runner-up as the Lindsey Wilson men's golf team took third at the Mid-South Conference Championship Tournament held at Bowling Green Country Club. Lindsey Wilson finished with a total score of 895 (304-300-291) and were four shots behind runner-up Cumberlands (KY). Cumberland (TN) won the team title with a three-day total of 883. LWC Women's golf finishes 3rd at MSC Championship By Chris Coombs Bowling Green, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team finished in third place at the Mid-South Conference Championship Tournament on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Bowling Green Country Club. The Blue Raiders shot a three-day total 977 (318-323-336) at the 54-hole tournament. Lindsey Wilson finished 16 strokes behind second place Cumberland (TN). Cumberlands (KY) took home the team championship with a three-day 933. Cumberland (TM) finished second at 961. Cumberlands' Kaitlyn Riley took home medalist honors at the MSC Championships after finishing 9-over par; marking the second straight year she has won the tournament. This is not a drill - message to Campbellsville University family A real active shooter, three hour standoff coincided with upcoming plans for drill resulting in lockdowns on parts of the CU campus Just four days ago, in an article by Ariel C. Emberton, Campbellsville University announced, Active Shooter Drill planned at CU 27 Apr 2018, but yesterday a message was circulated to the campus family, telling the students and staff, "This is not a drill -- possible shooter making threats." A three-hour standoff resulted with part of the campus being on lockdown. Hofmeister, 65, formerly of Lexington, was sentenced today to 41 months in federal prison, by Chief United States District Judge Karen K. Caldwell, for pension plan theft and money laundering. Hofmeister previously admitted that he embezzled money from the Hillsdale Hourly and Salaried Pension Plans. Hofmeister was the Trustee of the Plans at the time. Hofmeister also admitted that Plans' assets were diverted for the benefit of his companies and his family's trusts. Hofmeister pleaded guilty to the charges in October 2017. The video was shot by a motorist who just happened to be stopped in traffic and had a good view of the whole incident and captured it on her smart phone. The video was uploaded to the Internet, went viral and the rest is history. But it got me thinking about how I could have used such technology 25 years ago when I wanted to record on video some conversations I had with my late grandmother.
