Norma Richards: Thinks mystery rock on old KY 61

Comments re photo 71299 Mystery Rock Where in the universe did it come from

Norma Richard writes:
I think this is the huge rock on the right side of the road on old 61 going to Burkesville. I don't remember about how far out it is since we now use the new road when going to Tennessee - Norma Richard
Thanks, Norma Richard - A really, really good guess. But this particular rock is not on KY 61 - at this time, though it may have been moved from KY 61. Or it may have a sister rock out there. Thanks for a excellent first guess, not so far from the pinpoint of the one in the photo. (About which we know very little so far, but are so curous to learn more.) - EW

Sen. Max Wise's Legislative Update Fri 24 Feb 2017

PERSONAL COMMENTARY
Click on headline for complete report to the people

By State Senator Max Wise, (R-Campbellsville)
16th District: Adair, Clinton, Cumberland, McCreary, Russell, Taylor, and Wayne Counties

Halfway through the 2017 Legislative Session with a sight of the finish line ahead, it was a productive week as more than a dozen bills passed the senate chamber. We were excited to welcome the children of Kentucky National Guard members from across the state for the First Annual Kentucky Military Kids Day. It was an honor to host these families who have sacrificed so much to serve our state and our country. We also introduced the "Sunny Page" program this week, which encourages special needs students from across Kentucky to page in the Senate and be a part of the legislative process.

Thank you, fellow McDonald's customer

A grateful anonymous person writes:
After my 10 hour work day today (Fri 24 Feb 2017), it was easier to stop for fast food for dinner than cook at home. A wonderful person in front of me in the drive thru paid for our dinner! Being tired and surprised, I didn't even think to "pay it forward" and pay for the person behind me at the time... I wanted to let this kind person know I will be making a donation to Officer Johnny Dial as a "pay it forward" Thank you! - A grateful anonymous person

What a wonderful thought - One, I'm sure, the poster boy for "Pay it Forward," in Adair County, Kasey Blue, would certainly approve. Hope others will continue to follow your example. - CM
