ADAIR Band takes State AAA Band Championship for 21st time!

And that's even more significant than the first one! There's a huge week ahead. With the Community Encore performance on Monday, 9 Nov 2015, and then another trip to the BOA Grand Nationals in Indianapolis on Thu 12 Nov 2015

Compiled by Ed Waggener, CM
from information from Mark D. Harris, Donald Hare, and Shamarie Harper

It's been a huge week for the ADAIR Band. The bands Tradition of Excellence is now so routine it is sometimes taken for granted.

But, as Donald Hare points out in a submission this morning, each victory is a new reason to celebrate. The State Championship, Saturday, he notes, was the 21st, the most for any school in the state.

The band will present a Community Encore performance of its 2015 program, "Threshhold," at 6pmCT, on Monday night, November 9, 2015 at Blue Raider Stadium (checking on location; trying to remember what Craig Dean announced at City Council - EW).

That comes just three days before Band will go for another BoA National Championship on Thursday, November 12, 2015, at 8:45pmCT, at Lucas Oil Stadium, 500 S Capitol, Indianapolis, IN when Director Tom Case' community heroes take the national spotlight - again, on a now very familiar field.
