Mrs. Peggy Ann Hunt, 54, Taylor Co., KY (1961-2015)

Mrs. Hunt professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church. She was a native of Campbellsville, KY and a resident of the city at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Harvey and Mary Elizabeth (Wise) Gilbert. She leaves nine direct living descendants.

Mrs. Peggy Ann Hunt, 54, of Campbellsville, KY, departed this life on November 4, 2015 at her home.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Hunt on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 12pmCT/1pmET, at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Interment will follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, 271 Salem Church Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 6, after 9amCT/10amET, until time for the service.

Mrs. Peggy Ann Hunt was born on October 12, 1961 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Harvey and Mary Elizabeth (Wise) Gilbert. She departed this life on November 4, 2015 at her home in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY. She was 54 years and 25 days of age.

Mrs. Hunt professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing:
  • One son: Patrick Hunt and wife April of Campbellsville, KY

  • One daughter: Amanda Benham of Campbellsville, KY

  • Six brothers: Danny Gilbert and wife Sondra of Finley, KY; Charles Gilbert and wife Carol of Tennessee; Randal Gilbert and wife Liz of Campbellsville, KY; George Gilbert and wife Janie of Springfield, KY; Harvey Gilbert and wife Faye of Finley, KY; and Eddie Gilbert of Campbellsville, KY

  • One sister: Cheryl Godby of Campbellsville, KY

  • Seven grandchildren: Christopher Harrison, William Ira Benham II, Haley Benham, Shelby Brooke Hunt, Taylan Hunt, Sadie Hunt, and Jaxson Hunt

  • And a host of other family and friends
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Hedgespeth, and a brother, Bobby Gilbert.
