Fourth of July Crafts Apps opportunity at ACHS

Class will be presented by Adair County Cooperative Extension Service

The Adair County Cooperative Extension Service will be having a 4th of July Crafts and Apps class. During this class, participants will make a 4th of July craft and dessert that will be perfect for the upcoming holiday. The class will be held at the Adair County High School Food Lab on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 5pmCT. The class has no fee, however pre-registration is required. Taylor County man arrested on multiple charges

Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY

(Campbellsville, KY - 49-year-old Kenneth L. Agee, of Campbellsville, was arrested today at 1:09pmCT, 2.5 miles south of Campbellsville on Smith Ridge Rd. Agee was charged with Assault 4th, Fleeing/Evading Police 2nd (on foot), No Registration Plates, No Registration Receipt and Failure to Produce Insurance Card. Agee was arrested after a short foot pursuit that occurred when Tpr. Josh Dicken was flagged down by a female on Smith Ridge Road, and alleged that she had been assaulted by Agee. Agee was lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center.

Barn Quilt wonderful addition to Cold Springs Farm

I've been wanting to create a 'barn quilt' since noting other examples around the area. At present there is no electrical wiring in the room designated as my 'sewing room' - maybe it is time to get out paint brushes instead of fabric. Western KY Pkwy Closed - WB Mile Point 123 In Hardin County

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (8:10amCT, Tue 16 Jun 2015) -Western Kentucky Parkway Westbound at Mile Point 123 In Hardin County is blocked due to a vehicle crash. After emergency air transport leaves the scene, one lane is expected to open. It is expected to take 1-2 hours for all lanes to clear.

Eastbound is open.

Ollie C. Newton, 81, Taylor Co., KY (1933-2015)

He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Army where he was a military policemen in Germany. He was a native of Taylor County, KY and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Walter Newton and Nettie Page Newton, the widower of Gaye Cash Newton, his wife of over 45 years, and is survived by his wife, Clara Williams Sapp. He leaves 11 direct and 25 step living descendants

eTechCampus to expand operations in Lexington, KY

Digital learning solutions company to move to new facility, create 45 jobs

FRANKFORT KY (15 Jun 2015) - A Lexington-based company is growing. Gov. Steve Beshear and Lexington Mayor Jim Gray today announced that eTechCampus LLC is moving to a new location in Fayette County and adding more than 45 new jobs.

eTechCampus, which provides digital learning solution for schools, colleges, corporations and government entities, also will invest more than $2 million into the project.

More convenient application makes employer tax credit easier
