Reba Kathryn Jones, 80, Russell Co., KY, (1935-2015)

She was a state worker for the State of Kentucky. She was a native of Jamestown, KY, and a resident of the city at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late William Grover Bolin and the late Effie Ann Murray Bolin. Her husband, David Jones, survives. She leaves 10 direct living descendants.

Reba Kathryn Jones, 80, Brown Road, Jamestown, KY, died Sunday, June 14, 2015, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, in Somerset, KY.

The funeral service will be at 1pmCT, Thursday, June 18, 2015, at the Jamestown Church of the Nazarene, 132 S Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Darrell Pelston and Bro. Jessie Jewell officiating. Burial will be in the Jamestown Cemetery, 201 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY. Visitation will be after 9amCT, Thursday at the Jamestown Church of the Nazarene.

She was born Saturday, March 23, 1935, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late William Grover Bolin and Effie Ann Murray Bolin. She died in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, June 14, 2015, at the age of 80 years, two months and 22 days.

She was a state work for the State of Kentucky.

She is survived by the following:
  • Her husband: David Jones, Jamestown, KY

  • Her son: Rickie Jones, Jamestown, KY

  • Her daughter: Vickie Brockman, Jamestown, KY

  • Her brother: Jimmy Bolin, Jametown, KY

  • Eight grandchildren
She was preceded in death by per parents, two sisters, Ruth Chapman and Nona Guffey; five brothers, Junior, John, Kenneth,m Melvin and Millard Bolin.

The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 201 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.

The family requests donations to Sewellton Church of God of Prophecy, 5968 N Hwy 55, Jamestown, KY.
