The Russell County (KY) High School graduate was among 280 incoming Lindsey Wilson College freshmen who attended the first three EDGE days of the summer. The first three were held June 4-6; the final two will be July 24-25. "It's a relief (to have finished high school) because I was tired of high school," said Burton, of Russell Springs, who graduated May 28. "I'm just ready to be out on my own." Burton attended the Saturday EDGE day with fellow Russell County alumna Billie Peel, also of Russell Springs. Both plan to major in human services and counseling at LWC. Great Oaks continues in Roley Christian building Pastor Troy Long writes: Ed, Great Oaks Ministries is using the same building. The building now has a red brick exterior and an addition that includes education rooms and a fellowship hall. These renovations were done by the members of Roley Christian Church prior to their merger with Knifley Christian Church.
