The petition reads: "We, the undersigned registered voters hereby petition for an election on the following question: Are you in favor of the sale of alchoholic beverages in Adair County, Kentucky? following all guidelines of KRS242.20?Under the heading, "PETITION IN FAVOR OF WET/DRY VOTE - Adair County, KY, the copy has 17 lines with spaces for name, address, D.O.B. / SSN, Date, and signature. According to County Court Clerk Joyce Rodgers, a petition would have to almost 1800 verified signatures of registered Adair County voters in order for a special Wet-Dry Election to be held.
