Thanks to Coach Burton for all he has done Marian Grant writes: As a fan of all Adair County sports programs, I would like to say thanks to Coach Burton for all he and the ACHS Golf team has done in the past four years to bring positive publicity to our town and our sports program. As a former golf coach many many years ago these programs usually get overlooked and they have done a wonderful job making sure that everyone knows that Adair County has a great program. Frequent crosser remembers being terrified on Berry Bridge Debbie Selby writes: I have crossed this bridge many times. When I was a child, we had to cross this bridge when going to my grandparents house. My Mom and I almost had to hold our breath until we got to the other side. I was terrified because it creaked and popped as you went over. Someone told me to make a wish while crossing the bridge which would get my mind on something else. The only wish I was interested in was hoping we would get to the other side. --Debbie SelbyComments re photo 48528 Bridges of Green Co KY Berry Bridge from collection of Larry Smith, FM 99.9 FM Operations Manager 2013-02-20 08:55:15 | Comments | Printable version
