Multi-semi wreck closes I65 Northbound in Hart County Combined from dispatches from Chris Jessie and Keirsen Jaggers News from the KY Department of Highways, Elizabethtown and Bowling Green, KY ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (September 8, 2012) - A multi-semi wreck has closed Interstate 65 northbound near mile point 60 between Horse Cave and Munfordville. Traffic is being detoured via US 31E. Motorists are being taken off the interstate at Horse Cave (Exit 58) and routed to 31E via KY 218. Motorists will travel north on 31W to Hodgenville to join the Lincoln Parkway west to Elizabethtown and rejoin I65. Commercial traffic going through to Elizabethtown is urged to take the William Natcher Parkway to the Western Kentucky Parkway and rejoin I65 in Elizabethtown. The closure is expected to last 6 hours. Local traffic on the detour route should be aware of the increased traffic. The city of Munfordville is conducting their annual Civil War Days event.
