Topsy turvy prices astonish COF, who has seen everything COF suspects nefarious plot may be unfolding by the COF Upside down, Inside out the World is astandin' on hit's hed! I've had occasion each of the past two weeks to be in Knifley's little suburb of Columbia and on the same day it's notorious neighbor across the Green and Lo en Behold - motor fuel was a dime or more cheaper in the southern realm then in the northern! How kin this be I asked my friend Dr. Watson. And for two weeks straight! Surely some evil game is afoot. What nefarious plot is unfolding even as we speak? The princely sum of 10 cents was enow back in the day to secure a coke for both you en your buddy. With one thin dime you could sneak home with the latest issue of Captain Marvel (Tho I think the older fellas mighta had more a likin' for Wonder Women). With thet shiny Rooseveldt one could gorge on enuf penny candy to keep outta school tha next day. Is this a scheme being perpetrated by Moriarty or maybe his infamous cousin Geo. S has embarked on an effort to corner the market. The good Dr advised that his friend and confidant was otherwise occupied but suggested that I engage the renowned forensic skills of the erstwhile chronicler of all things Adairian to determine the raisons d'etre for this unprecedented event. How has it happened that Columbia fuel is cheaper then C'Ville? This is not our wont and is most unsettlin'. Inquirin' minds want to know.
