Mrs. Buchanan was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Glasgow, KY and a homemaker Kathleen Loy Buchanan age 83 years of Glasgow, KY formerly of Adair County, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 7:20pmCT, at her home near Glasgow, KY She was born November 6, 1928 in Fairplay, KY the daughter of the late: Robert and Nola Brummett Loy. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps- McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Bro. Darrell Landis will be the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Loy Cemetery 1740 Loy Cemetery Road, Fairplay, KY. The family requests visitation after 4pmCT, February 17, 2012, on Thursday, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Kathleen Loy Buchanan, Adair County, KY (1928-2012) Kathleen Loy Buchanan, was born November 6, 1928 in Fairplay, KY. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Nola Brummett Loy. She died Tuesday, February 14, 2012, Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 83 years, 3 months, and 8 days. She was preceded in death by her husband: Colby L. Buchanan Sr. on December 27, 1999. By two sons: Colby Buchanan Jr. and James Buchanan, five brothers: Dellus Loy, Elmer Loy, Clifton Loy, Johnny Loy and Wesley Loy. Survived by the following:
