A very special thanks to everyone at Summit Manor who made her last six years so much happier. Thank you to Dr. Chuck Giles who gave her such compassionate, excellent care for so many years. Thank you to Bro. David Coffey whose message let everyone know how special our mother/grandmother was, and to Bro. Clifton Bennet for his kind comments. Raiders stay in Jackson, TN, for Saturday doubleheader with Union at Fesmire Feild

Jackson, TN - A six-run second inning propelled the Lindsey Wilson College baseball team to a 10-5 win over Union (TN) University today at Fesmire Field.

The Blue Raiders (6-3) scored the game's first eight runs en route to handing the No. 16-ranked Bulldogs their first loss of the season.

The Pines will be closed to cart play Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011

On Saturday, February 26th, The Pines will be closed to cart play due to severe flooding on the course. The driving range will be closed as well. Three Lindsey Wilson College students earned cash for their talents.

The students were among more than two dozen who competed in the annual "Lindsey Wilson Idol," held over the last two weeks in V.P. Henry Auditorium.

Christopher Carter Sanderson, Kit, is the new Executive Director at Kentucky Repertory Theatre, Horse Cave, KY, effective March 1, 2011. He has a Master of Fine Arts in directing from the Yale School of Drama, 2005. His company of 24 years in New York City, Gorilla Rep, is a prolific and well-loved part of that city serving the mission of populist theatre.

CU students to meet with legislators, attend rally in Frankfort

Campbellsville University students will be participating in National Professional Social Work Month by attending a social work rally at the Capitol Rotunda, inside the Kentucky State Capitol, 702 Capitol AV (MAP), Frankfort, KY, starting at 1pmET/12pm noonCT, Wednesday, March 2, 2011. The students will meet with 51st District Rep. Bam Carney, and participate in the "Lunch with Legislators" from 11:30amET to 12:45pmET and then continue to the 1pm rally, which is expected to last one hour.

Entrepreneurship in area gets big boost from Lindsey Wilson

Entrepreneurship Series is off to great start! Some 50 guests at first session with LWC speaker Al Efferstein and LWC Director of Community Education and Outreach Linda Grider at Mulligan's at the Pines at Lindsey Wilson, learning how to Build Your Own Job.The next session, Preparing a Market Plan, also at The Pines, is March 24, 2011. Sessions are free and entrepreneurs may attend any or all of the events, all held at The Pines.

LWC Assistant Professor of Business Al Efferstein led a session for about 50 guests about the basic building blocks in starting a business.
