Three Lindsey Wilson College students earned cash for their talents.

The students were among more than two dozen who competed in the annual "Lindsey Wilson Idol," held over the last two weeks in V.P. Henry Auditorium.

The LWC Student Government Association sponsored the event. Contestants were judged by a panel of LWC faculty and staff members in the first two rounds, and then an audience of mostly LWC students selected the top three contestants.

"Lindsey Wilson Idol" was won by Caitlyn Harrod of Springfield, KY; Jake Zimmerman of Philpot, KY, was runner-up, and Paige Hutchison of Columbia, KY, placed third.

Harrod won $250, Zimmerman won $125 and Hutchison won $75.
