CU Alumni Cheerleaders to perform at basketball games Saturday By Logan Wolfe / Campbellsville University Athletics CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- The Campbellsville University Alumni Cheerleaders will return to Powell Athletic Center for their second-annual reunion performance Saturday, Feb. 26 when CU hosts the University of the Cumberlands for a Mid-South Conference basketball doubleheader at 2 and 4pmET/1 and 3pmCT. The reunion group, which will perform at halftime of each game, is comprised mainly of former CU cheerleaders from the early to late 1990s. During that time, the group brought home the 1995 COA National Championship, the 1996 Christian College National Championship and captured the cheerleading program's first Mid-South Conference Championship in 1998. In addition to the cheerleader reunion, alumni from the 1970s and 1980s will hold a joint reunion at the games. It will also be Senior Day at Campbellsville, as the senior women's basketball, men's basketball and cheerleaders will be recognized. Tickets for the games are $7 for adults and $5 for non-CU students age 6 and up. Children age 6 and under are free.
