I too was curious about the weather and temps reported by the iPhone. While I have never been tough enough to ride my bike outdoors in negative temperatures, I was curious where the weather data provided by the iPhone comes from. Turns out it comes from Yahoo Weather. Now, where Yahoo obtains such readings is beyond the scope of my investigation. ;) iPhone Weather

Birds of Kentucky: Rare yellow cardinal at Gravel Switch, KY

Has anyone photographed one in Adair or surrounding counties?

An extremely rare Yellow Cardinal was photographed in the Boyle Co. area near Gravel Switch, Marion Co., KY and was reported in the Lexington Herald, according to a CM contributing operative in Taylor Co., KY. If you failed to see the photo in the February 10, 2011, edition of the Lexington Herald, you may want to click to The Xenohistorian Weblog for more on the bird.

When this news arrived, we learned that others have photographs of rare albino squirrels, white raccoons, and other exotic wildlife right here in Adair County, KY. The entire staff and most of the readership, we'd assume, would appreciate sharing of photos.
