LWC Library receives grant from KY Historical Society Click on headline for story plus photo By Duane Bonifer News from Lindsey Wilson College Columbia, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College Katie Murrell Library will get to digitize its collection of local oral histories, interviews with college officials and talks by visiting luminaries thanks to a grant from the Kentucky Historical Society. The Murrell Library received a Preservation Assistant Grant, which allows the library to borrow special equipment that will digitize the dozens of audio files - many of which were recorded on audiotape - in its archives. The grant was made possible by the Kentucky Oral History Commission, which is part of the Kentucky Historical Society. The grant will allow the Murrell Library staff to use the equipment for a year.
