Janice Reed backs Chance Reunion idea

About: Grew up at Chance KY. Would love reunion

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

I would love a Chance reunion. Since my Grandfather and Grandmother named it and had the first Post Office in their home as well as a grocery. And all my life I have heard stories.

I would love to get together with others and hear their stories. And see old friends and maybe some family members I haven't seen in a very long time.

s/Janice Newton Reed

Thanks. The chorus of support for Billy Joe Fudge's idea is growing. CM will post updates as received.

May 14 is a big day for celebrations

There are 14 celebrations in Birthdays and Anniversaries today, Friday, May 14, 2010, at 1:38amCT, after updating for Denise Adamson's family, which has three 3 today. She wrote:
May 14 birthdays are my son, Bradley Adamson, 29 years: his wife Ashley Adamson, 27 years. and her mother Sylvia Grant. -Denise Adamson
And one letter, prompted us add another birthday, for David Martin, and post an Event, Mother in Law day, in the Events Calendar. It's the fourth Sunday in October, so in 2010 it is on October 24, 2010, for those of us who have special Mother in Laws. She sent the name of her son in law, which is included in the list.

And everyone will recognize the special family event in the Pauline Rogers family of aunt/niece birthdays to be celebrated today by Jane Hardwick, and her niece Shamarie Claiborne.

All 14 celebrations are very special. If we missed anyone, it was unintentional. Please send using any Contact/Submit Button. We do our best to post them today.
