ACES donates the 1000th Blanket to Baby So Soft Total continues to climb, well beyond the original goal! By Monica Rodgers-Shuffett Co-Chair with Norma Scott of the Baby So Soft campaign May 14, 2010 - the ACES school donated 54 new blankets and $70.00 to the Baby So SoftBlanket Campaign. This brings the current total # of donations to 1,047 blankets. Throughout the campaign - ACES donated a total of 92 new blankets, $70.00 and 50 gently used blankets (used blankets not added to total # of blankets). ACES donated the blankets in honor of "ACES babies" who began their young lives at Kosairs and also in honor of Griffitt Owen Powell, Brent Owen Moore, Jaxton Ryan McQueary & Jaymeson Hunt Corbin Harmon - all recent Kosair babies! Beth Ellison, Kindergarten teacher spearheaded the drive at ACES. Beth is one of my best friends since childhood and has been a great inspiration to me throughout the years.
