Thou shalt not covet thy EMD's office . . . or his chair

2008-10-15 - Adair 911 Center, North High Street, Columbia, KY - Photo By Ed Waggener.
Adair County Finance Officer Gale Cowan was yet another official who cast a covetous eye on the office of Adair County Emergency Management Director Greg Thomas--and his chair. The office, on the main floor of the new Adair 911 Office is tastefully decorated with framed prints recalling memorable events involving past tornadoes and other disasters. The office is first one Thomas has had in his tenure as EMD. The workplace for 911 and Emergency management is the envy not only of other Adair County government employees, but of most others who had the privilege of visiting it during the Open House on Tuesday, October 14, 2008.
