Acts of Ron Richardson show goodwill still exists, even today

His good heart had always shown threw; today, he made an extra effort which help a confused 87 year old man get home 100 miles away.

By Crystal Broyles

I am proud of my nephew Ron Richardson.

He did a kind and somewhat heroic effort today which exhibits that goodwill and concern for others still exists in the world we live in today. Ron is a very good hearted and kind man, who took care of my father like a baby anytime he was needed day or night before my father passed away a few years back.

Edmonton-MC Chamber says current map solicitation not theirs

Out of town company is soliciting now, but solicitation is NOT for local chamber map. The Edmonton Chamber of Commerce does not use map project as a fund raiser. Bids are taken locally, from area printers.

The Edmonton Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce office has been notified that an out of town company is contacting local businesses there soliciting ads for a Metcalfe/Barren County Map.

"This is NOT the map distributed by the Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce," Gaye Shaw, Executive Director of the EMC Chamber said. "We have enough local maps to last until the first of the year," she said. "I will then contact businesses about buying an ad on the most up to date Metcalfe County Map."
