Ronald McDonald House wish list event

By Donna Stotts, President, C-AC Chamber of Commerce

The Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce and Kentucky ASAP are sponsoring a wish list event for the Ronald McDonald Houses of Lexington and Louisville on October 2, from 4:00 to 7:00 pmCT.

Many Adair County families have stayed at the Ronald McDonald house due to illness of a child. Please bring your items on the above date and lets show our appreciation for the services they have extended in the past and for those who will need it in the future.

The students of Adair County Elementary School, Col. William Casey, and John Adair Intermediate School are beginning to collect pop tabs that will continue throughout the school year, while Adair County Middle School and Adair County High School students are filling jars with money until the event date.

Tell your neighbors and friends about this project. Tell members of your church, everyone you know. Lets make this a huge success. We can with your help!.

Please call the Chamber office at (270) 384-6020, Donna Stotts at (270) 384-6433, or Ellen Zornes at (270) 384-3400 for a copy of the wish list.

Lets make this a red letter day for Adair County.
