The Man Standing Next to US
What a pleasure it is to watch a beginning novelist search for and find a viable voice. Puts me in mind of a young colt I saw the other day out at Cub Run. Not more than a few days old, he knew just what he was after and was already pretty certain about how to get it. Once in a while his legs got in the way, but I could tell he would soon find his stride.

Larry Smith, WHVE FM 92.7 Radio News Anchor, a resident of Campbellsville, a native of Green County, and whose day job is in Columbia, sent this striking photo of Campbellsville's most familiar--and tallest-- and mark, the steeple on the Campbellsville Baptist Church. "From anywhere in Campbellsville," he says, "it is a beautiful sight. I just happened to notice how the sun was hitting the steeple from this angle and took the picture. Whether you are in downtown Campbellsville or on the university Campus, and the light is right to photograph in the direction of the church, the steeple always adds interest." Feedback: Daughter has been in band since 6th grade

About: Westlake Groundbreaking: ACHS Band Photo

    Ed,

I was looking at the picture and notice that you all didn't have my daughter's first name, Please post it for me, I'm so proud of her; she is a senior this year and has been in band since 6th grade. My daughter is the first one in 3rd row--Kisha Burton.

    Thanks,
    s/Cathy Burton

Thank you for adding the ID. We have now added Kisha's first name to the photo. The photo caption still lacks the names of the players not visible. If anyone can help with those names, we'd appreciate it. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words unless that word is a name, which is much, much more important. -EW
