Siberian husky and Cairn terrier free to good home

I have an 8 yr old Siberian husky and a Cairn terrier to give away to a good home. both are good dogs and great with kids the husky is female and the terrier is a male. The husky has always been kept in a fenced in yard; I would appreciate it if she was able to remain free running in a yard. CU graduate sees success with self-composed musical

Just a Breeze to a Hurricane has three sold-out performances, and opens doors for composer Matt Hodge, who wrote 17 original songs and choreographed play

three full-house performances and a sold-out encore performance, the ride is just beginning for recent Campbellsville University graduate Matt Hodge.

Hodge, of Taylorsville, KY, received a bachelor of arts in music, theory and composition, in the May 2008 commencement ceremony.

Single vehicle crash on KY 206 results in injuries

POLICE REPORTS

Both the driver and a passenger received injuries when the 2003 Kia Rio in which they were travelling eastbound on KY 206, one mile east of Columbia, KY, left the roadway and overturned today, Friday, June 20, 2008, at noonCT.

Obituary: Larry Arnold Mosier, 61

Mr. Mosier was well-known heavy equipment operator and was a member of a large, respected Beaumont (Metcalfe Co.), KY family

Larry Arnold Mosier, 61, of the Beaumont Community of Metcalfe County, died Wednesday, June 18, at his residence. Mr. Mosier was the father of Columbia restaurant owner Marketta Dubree.

The funeral service will be Friday, June 20, at 2:00pmCT, at McMurtrey Funeral Home, Summer Shade, KY, with Bro. Taylor Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Summer Shade Cemetery.

Red Barn Bar BQ is closed today for funeral

Customers of the Red Barn BarBQ restaurant at 309 Hudson Street in Columbia who have found the popular restaurant closed Thursday and today, Friday, June 20, 2008, will be saddened to know that the reason is the death of Marketta Dubree's father, who died unexpectedly at the age of 61 on Wednesday, June 18, 2008. We have not received details of the funeral arrangments yet but will post them as soon as they are received. The restaurant is expected to re-open Saturday, June 21, 2008. Marketta Dubree is co-owner, with husband Gary, of the Red Barn.
