AC Firemen respond to vehicle fire on N. KY 61 By Donald Hare, Public Affair Officer, ACFD The Adair County Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire at 6:05amCT, Tuesday morning, May 6, 2008, 5 miles out North KY 61, to a 1993 Geo Tracker, owned by Jimmy Stapp of Columbia, KY. Driver injured in early morning single car crash on KY 61 POLICE REPORTS On Monday morning, May 5, 2008, at approximately 7:15amCT, the Adair County Sheriff Department investigated an injury accident approximately 5 miles from Columbia on KY 61 South (Burkesville Road). The accident occurred when a 2001 Ford Explorer being operated by 17 year old Tia Hatcher of Columbia was traveling northbound on KY 61 South. The driver lost control of her vehicle in a curve, left the roadway and struck an embankment. Hatcher was transported to Westlake Regional Hospital in Coulumbia by Adair County EMS.
