County Judge Executive Ann Melton accepted the keys from Mi-Di President Mike Newton today. Jean Corbin said her enthusiasm could be understood if one could imagine the difference in the most most pleasant office imaginable after being used 12 hour shifts in the windowless dungeon-like center in the Adair County Jail.

Feedback: Wonders about coming, going of blimp

Photo

To ColumbiaMagazine.com

We got excited when we saw the blimp going over the hospital today! I'm glad someone else saw it besides us. I was afraid no one would believe it.

We got the binoculars out to read what was on the side of it and had trouble seeing what it said.

It doesn't take much to excite two old retirees like us!!

We do wonder where it was headed and where it came from.

Letter: Giant ice cream cone taking

LETTERS & FEEDBACK

To Columbia Magazine.com

Our larger than life ice cream cones that adorn our front window aren't just for decoration. Oh no no!

They're piggy banks as well. We have just wrapped up our fund drive for Blane Bardin and are now "Casting for Cody."

I'm sure everyone has heard of the heartbreaking ordeal that Kelly and Leslie Dorman are living with medical costs for this precious child. The Dairy Dip has jumped on board with "casting for Cody" and will gladly accept and pass on any donation!

Thanks so much!
