Lewis Garrison, Adair County, KY (1937-2017) 
He was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Green County, a U.S. Army veteran. In 1969 he founded Garrison Construction Company and operated the company for over 40 years. Mr. Garrison was a supporter of education at all levels and he served on the Board of Trustees of Lindsey Wilson College for several years. He was a devoted and proud member of the Columbia-Adair County community. He served on various city and county development boards including the airport board and ambulance board, and the Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of the Columbia Masonic Lodge # 96, Louisville Scottish Rite, Kosairs, National Utility Contractors Association, American Road and Transportation Builders, the Kentucky Association of Highway Contractors and a founding member of the Associate Builder and Contractors. An antique tractor and vehicle enthusiast, Garrison restored numerous antique tractors. He belonged to several antique tractor clubs and received numerous awards for his restoration work. His wife of 55 years, Gayle Corbin Garrison, survives. SEE: CAUD lifts Boil Water Advisory for Keltner Town Road area A boil water advisory is in effect for consumers of Columbia Adair Utilities District as of 5pmCT on November 29, 2017 for customers on Keltner Town Road, Keltner Mill road and all side roads in between.The advisory has been issued due to main line leak. Following such an event, the potential exists for bacteriological contamination of the water supply therefore the boil water advisory has been issued as a precautionary measure. Until further notice, boil all water used for drinking and cooking, bringing the water to a rolling boil for three minutes before using. This advisory will remain in effect until the situation has been corrected and test results have shown the water to be of an acceptable quality.
