We have received the sad word of the passing of Lewis Garrison, of the Clay Ridge Community on Greensburg Road in Adair County, KY, on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY, after a short illness. He was 80 years, of age. He was the owner of Garrison Construction Company, a company with broad impact over a wide area, in Columbia, KY, for many years. He was a civic leader, supporter of education at all levels, and a devout Christian.



He had a flair for showmanship which vaulted his antique tractor show into an an annual affair which drew thousands to the area each year.


His survivors are his wife, Gayle Corbin Garrison; one son, James (Paula) Garrison; and one daughter, Amy (Mike) Mitchum.
