I removed the tiny kitten's body from the roadway; its weight and healthy fur told me that it had been well-cared for. Until this morning. This kitten wasn't old enough nor large enough to have started rambling away from home on its own which makes me believe it was in someone's vehicle and fell out and was subsequently run over, either by its owner's vehicle or another vehicle.
