Deirdre Kay Redman, age 70, of the Millerfield Community in Adair County, KY, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at 6:45pmCT, at her home after a short illness.

The family has chosen cremation.

She was born June 14, 1947 in Phoenix, AZ. She was the daughter of the late William Owen. She died Sunday, June 18, 2017, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 70 years, four days.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son John Strand.

She is survived by:
  • Her husband: Joe Redman of Columbia, KY

  • One step-daughter: Laura Russell and her husband Charles of Camby, IN

  • Four grandchildren: Steven Strand, Sara Strand, Keera Russell and Della Russell.

  • And a host of other family and friends.
Kay retired from the Telecommunications Industry where she worked as a Data Testing Technician.
