Greater Bliss: Miss Miracle survives mini Corvette Museum ordeal

The story of the little calf who survived a fall in new sinkhole and survive four days. It was a sinkhole which might have swallowed Miss Vicky on her little tractor, too. Instead she was able to stop, find Good Neighbor help, bring the calf to the surface and then to Miss Vicky's Pampered Angus ER barn, and nurse her back to health.

Margo Miller: Procedure for traffic light failure

How the situation shouldhave been handled in Campbellsville today
Click on headline for complete commentary

By Margo Miller

(Mon 1 May 20178) - As a public service, would you please remind people that when traffic lights are not working, as was the case in Campbellsville today, each driver should treat the intersection like it is a four-way-stop intersection. That means that every single car must come to a complete stop immediately before entering the intersection, and must not proceed through the intersection until it is their individual turn. There should never be a line of cars crossing the intersection together when a stoplight is not working, but each individual vehicle should stop to allow cross traffic/turning traffic to enter the intersection safely.

Day trip to Burkesville with good friend Sue Stivers

By Linda Waggener

You know the friends you develop over the years, those you come together with at meetings and events but rarely have one on one time with?

Sue Stivers is one of those good friends. Each passing one of us is apt to say, "Let's get together for lunch soon!" Soon rarely happens in our busy lives so we catch ourselves saying it again next passing and laughing, knowing we probably won't again.

We actually made an appointment with each other recently and made that one on one time happen last Friday, April 28, 2017. It turned out to be a perfect spring day.
