He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Little Bethel Baptist Church in Glasgow, KY. He was the son of the late Harry Chase and Chatherine Goad Chase. His wife of 56 years, Geneva G. Caven Chase, survives. He leaves He was also a truck driver since the age of 16. He leaves 26 direct living descendants. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Little Bethel Baptist Church in Glasgow. He was also a truck driver since the age of 16.

Mr. Archie Kenneth Chase, 79, of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the Green Hill Rehabilitation and Care.

The funeral services for Mr. Archie K. Chase were conducted at 2pmCT, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY. Burial is in the Wilson Cemetery. Bro. Ivan Jones officiated. Visitation was 4pm-8pmCT, Friday, April 28, 2017, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Saturday until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Grady Dewitt, Troy Dewitt, Bryar Chase, Elijah Chase, and Kyle Chase

Honorary pallbearer: Ryan Price

Mr. Archie Kenneth Chase of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Harry Chase and Catherine Goad Chase, was born on February 18, 2017 in Barren County, KY and departed this life on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the Green Hill Rehabilitation and Care. He was 79 years, two months, and nine days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Little Bethel Baptist Church in Glasgow. He was also a truck driver since the age of 16.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Geneva G. Caven Chase of Greensburg having united in marriage on February 2, 1961 and the following:
  • Two sons and a daughter-in-law: Kenny Chase of Greensburg, KY; and Barry and Kathy Chase of Summersville, KY

  • Three daughters and sons-in-law: Becky and Charlie French of Elizabethtown, KY; Gale and Steve Dalton of Campbellsville, KY; and Pam and Clay Price of Magnolia, KY

  • Two brothers and a sister-in-law: Bobby Chase, and Donnie and Patricia Chase all of Barren County, KY

  • A sister: Dorothy Chase of Barren County, KY

  • Two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law: Lois Chase of Barren County, KY; Cora and Grady Dewitt of Greensburg, KY; and Olyn Caven of Summersville, KY

  • Twelve grandchildren

  • Nine great-grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Chase was also preceded in death by two brothers: Jesse Chase and T. Chase.

Memorials are requested to the Wilson Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.

The Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, was in charge of arrangements.
